MW Mobile Blog

For friends, family and the random search engine visitor. This blog started as an experiment in mobile blogging from my Palm TREO 600, 700, Prē, HTC Evo, Samsung 5, Pixel 3, Pixel 6 Pro. Now it serves as a simple repository of favorite activities. Expect bad golf, good fishing, great sailing, eating, drinking, adventure travel, occasional politics and anything else I find interesting along the way including, but not limited to, any of the labels listed here...

Captain Jim - Lucky

Tonight is one of those nights where I am reminded about just how lucky I am to be out here doing what we are doing.

The sky is clear from horizon to horizon. The ocean is very smooth (that's what happens when you have no wind for six days!) There is no moon. However, the sky is illuminated by a million stars and Jupiter's reflection on the surface of water resembles the yellow brick road from the Wizard of Oz..

Unless you travel to the top of a remote mountain somewhere, you will never see a sky like this. Simply amazing!!- Captain Jim
