Last catch

Trout season ended in Michigan at sunset.
The days catch. The bigger one was caught as it was getting dark, and may be the last trout caught in the 2007 trout season for the entire state of Michigan.

Trout for breakfast ... or maybe brunch.

Yes, the dimensions are perfect for carrying a bottle of beer down to the river and trout back up.

I may have ruined my belt though.

what did you use to catch those ?
I see you have a fly rod in your hand but suspect it is just a photo op prop.

I spent three hours fishing downstream with the fly rod, and three different flies.

to bad the trout season is over, or you could take care of your big end of trip fish fry with the kettu's with fish from the river.
