Live blogging the "Big Daddy Pursuit Race"

I'll be meeting Hal at the Richmond Yacht Club for his introduction to Morpheus and SF Bay sailing.

All, Just a confirmation that Morpheus is entered in the Big Daddy Pursuit Race on Sunday. The course is around Alcatraz and Angel Island in either direction.

First start is 11:55 out near the South Hampton light. So....arrival by 11am is a good idea.

We are going the simple route....big main, roller furling jib, and one spinnaker in a sock. We should be able to avoid the big mistake!!

The boat will have it’s usual array of snacks onboard and some beer/water. Additional contributions are encouraged!!

The weather looks to be changing a bit. Light winds and unfortunately a chance of some showers. Should be fun!!
