... grilling at lil' camp, but they are actually Italian sausage. HDW grabbed the wrong package in the store. It was still very good, but HDW needs to work on improving his attention to detail.

Weather Front moving through...

Rain now. Sunshine is forecast after the front moves through. We will he heading to the Escanaba River Camp later this morning.

Dinner

A gourmet country french dinner. Main course was HDW's stewed pheasant with wild rice. The bird is from a recent training hunt with Grif. Poppa's bass poached in champagne with onions and carrots and a cream sauce for an appetizer. This is my second attempt at this bass preparation at camp. Served with Sancerre wine. Everything was very good.

I am told that I am the spotter. Whatever that means.

I think it means I should mark the spot where the tuber goes down for the third time. You know.... for the the wreath on the water memorial service.
