Since we were not doing much abalone diving, we were taking pictures and video of the critters we came across in the air, on land, and under the sea. A sampling:
Anoher seal (sea lion?) with baby.
A - IDENTIFIED - Goldenrod Spider
This may be the prettiest spider I have ever seen.
Some gobblers our for a stroll in the rain at Sea Ranch.
I annoy some crabs under a rock on the beach.
Canadian Geese on the beach. I don't know what they are doing here.
Starfish
Urchins
Saw some diver harvesting these at another beach. Next time.
Cormorants and gull
Mussel landscape
The raw bar is open. A mussel snack.
A (yet to be identified) red billed sea bird...
... perhaps a plover? UPDATE: Looks like the spider is a female Misumena Vatia - the goldenrod spider.
