The not so wild parrots of Ferry Park

Walked down the hill to get a haircut at Embarcadero Center and strolled through Ferry Park, a favorite hang out for our famous Wild Parrots of Telegraph Hill.

They were out in force.

A few years ago the San Francisco Supervisors banned feeding the parrots in the park...

...as they were becoming to too acclimated to being around people.

Apparently some tourists (locals?) didn't get the memo.

It's great fun to interact with these parrots up close, but this is just not good for the birds.



Although, I suspect they think it is a pretty good deal.
