19th Hole
Other Bob insisted that I post this picture of the single ball and tee he played with for the entire round. Whatever.
Last outing I had a good front nine and a terrible back. This week I had terrible front nine and a good back. Next time I'll put both halves together. I just don't know if it will be good or bad.

We finally saw one. Yes, it's CRLF!
After playing this course for more than 20 years, we finally saw what we think is a juvenile California red-legged frog! Could be wrong. Might be some other species of frog.
Most amazing is where we found him. This critter hitched a ride on Rick's pull cart back to the parking lot after the round. Being the good responsible golfers we are, Rick escorted our little friend back to Laguna Salada.

Ice Plant Problems on 16..
Ice plant is not native to the San Francisco Bay Area.

Owen Admires New Frog Expressway
Between the 13th fairway and 12th green. This open water channel connecting Laguna Salada and Horse Stable Pond will dramatically improve the habitat for the California Red Leg Frog that lives here. It was completed despite the efforts of some misguided souls who hate the golf course more than they want to help the frog. You know who you are.
BTW - Owen joined us at the turn after things were backing up in the canyon.
