MW Mobile Blog

For friends, family and the random search engine visitor. This blog started as an experiment in mobile blogging from my Palm TREO 600, 700, Prē, HTC Evo, Samsung 5, Pixel 3, Pixel 6 Pro. Now it serves as a simple repository of favorite activities. Expect bad golf, good fishing, great sailing, eating, drinking, adventure travel, occasional politics and anything else I find interesting along the way including, but not limited to, any of the labels listed here...

First keeper of the season

Off of Will's dock - while we figure out what to do with ours.

Warm and calm today. Bugs not bad.

Not enough evidence.

I am sure you are well aware of the fact that the MW Mobile Blogosphere believes any claims made about your collective fishing abilities are dubious at best.

In the future please submit video evidence so that it is at least obvious that this isn't a fish you simply pulled out of cold storage and hooked.

Thank you.

Yay! Excellent bluegill. Did you immediately eat it or save for a fry?

Anon is too trusting.

Last I checked, the count was three. When we hit 10 it will be time for a fry. By "we" I mean papa.

Sean is just bitter as he is a known "Jonah" and no one can catch fish when he is located anywhere within 500 miles.

By "Jonah" I mean the apocryphal bad luck figure from the bible as opposed to the literal nephew Jonah, who is a well known excellent fisherman and good luck charm.
